Wonderful, friendly service and good facilities

A beautiful place, with a great host and employees. We received a warm welcome and friendly answers to questions about local things to do or try. Breakfast is delicious, and the chefs are very friendly. We were very close to restaurants and shops and our favorite beaches, Praia do cachorro and da Conceição.

Comfortable rooms, if somewhat small, and friendly reception, garden and a little cafe for breakfast. The location is close and convenient to shops and restaurants. Our host Josi was amazing, helping us with all sorts of things over and recommendations about atv in cozumel Mexico, such as booking trips, printing documents, and carrying our luggage!

Josi and her team went out of their way to help us enjoy our stay. Access is a little tricky as it’s off the main road, but that seems to be the norm here. Highly recommend!

I just came back from Noronha, and after looking for more than 2 months for a nice “pousada,” I booked “Del Mares,” directly with the owner, Pedro Henrique. I’m so glad I did and stayed with them. Service is fantastic! Pedro is always taking care of his guests, and he took me back to the airport himself. Breakfast is amazing!

I thought it was going to be like American continental breakfast, and I was so wrong. The pousada had bread, juices, tapioca, a variety of sweets, fruits, tea, coffee, ham, cheese and around 4pm they were always serving desserts and a drink for the guests to be able to socialize.

The room is cute. The bathroom was small but beautiful! Thank you so much for making me feel home, Pedro. I will be back and for sure will stay with you guys again!

A/C worked great. The staff were amiable and fun to talk to about island life etc. great cooks as well – I had my first tapioca with cheese here. The manager is also friendly and knowledgeable and helped with booking the island tour as I wasn’t sure what I would do (the scuba diving was inevitable). Altogether I enjoyed my stay and looking forward to a more extended visit.

Wonderful small guest house

There was a free shuttle to and from the airport. The Pousada owner Duda speaks English very well (even though he claims not to). The staff is exceeding, friendly, and helpful.

We arrived to find a personalized welcome tile with our names on the door to our room (and we were allowed to take it home as a souvenir); there were rose petals on the bed and a gift bottle of sparkling wine on ice in the room. The breakfast is excellent and plentiful, with fresh juices and all kinds of custom food made to order along with an excellent buffet selection.

A small kitchen is available for guest use. Our room, including bathroom/shower, was always clean and well stocked. The Pousada is in walking distance from several restaurants, many points of interest, and at least 3 beaches. It was an excellent experience all around!

We had an enjoyable experience at this Pousada. It was in a good location, tranquil, the staff was terrific by giving tips about some deep sea fishing riviera maya trips in Mexico, and the rooms were comfortable and clean.

There is ample deck area providing a space to relax, as well as a great outdoor shower for cleaning up when arriving from the beach. Loved the fresh tangerine juice at breakfast. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it.

This is a great option to stay in Fernando de Noronha. There are only a few rooms, so the place is intimate and quiet. The rooms are relatively small, but they are neat, clean, and air-conditioned. Breakfast is excellent, and the outdoor area to eat is charming. But bring repellent, the mosquitoes are vicious there!

We found Thania to be very helpful. She greeted us on arrival and explained everything about the hotel and gave us tips for the island. She also gave us her WhatsApp details so that we could message her with any questions (the staff at the hotel don’t speak English). She was accommodating and even booked us a table at Mergulhao for sunset.

Best place to stay in Fernando de Noronha

My family and I can’t say enough about Pousada Atobá. The rooms are spotlessly clean (Thank you, Thaís) and very comfortable. All the staff is amiable and are always ready to help you with a smile (Mr. Jeroã e Ana Paula).

Breakfast made me gain a few extra pounds because I could not resist the fantastic food Dona Claudia makes every morning (got to try Crepióca and Dolce de Leite Cake). Also big thanks to Narciso e Laine. Congratulations to Dona Lúcia for such a special place and thank you for the best snorkeling in riviera maya recommendations. It was a pleasure staying there our first visit to this paradise, and we will be back.

Pousada Atoba is located on a mild hill. It is at walking distance of the cachorro beach (15 mins), the bodró beach (40 mins) and the port (30 mins). The nearest bus station is at 10 mins walking. The best part of your staying here is breakfast, always different with a choice of mixed fruit, juices, cakes, and a cook ready to prepare tasty tapioca or omelets.

On the odd side, the room is very tiny, with no proper place for dresses. If you are staying more than 5 days, it is hard to leave the room in order. The staff is charming (maybe except the owner who looks a bit grumpy). No one speaks English, but this applies more or less to the whole island. The room was clean, but not spotless.

My wife and I had a great stay here. The staff was excellent, the room was clean, and the location was great and made heading for a restaurant on foot comfortably. The room was a little on the small side, but nothing too wrong. The excellent service and more helped make it a memorable stay on this exotic island.

Fernando de Noronha is a beautiful place with many challenges if you do not speak Portuguese. Although staff at Pousada Atoba does not speak English, yet every other aspect of the Pousada is perfect. Rooms are clean, TV has good reception, wifi is “ok,” (true all over the island), breakfast was much better than expected.

We had booked a boat tour the day we were leaving, the tour ended at 2 pm. Checkout is at noon. Pousada Atoba held our luggage AND allowed us to shower and freshen up before our return flight. This was HUGE! Thank you Pousada Atoba!

Very friendly and clean pousada

People at this B&B are so lovely and polite. Facilities and breakfast are ok. Price is a bit expensive. We thought it was because it is a carnival, but we heard price is high all year around. It makes the island’s pública A/B class. Despite it all, the staff is very helpful, and they help to overcome anything. Recommend it.

This pousada, first of all, has friendly staff who told us about some cozumel discover scuba tours for my family. It starts with some informative emails after booking, a free transfer from the airport and a warm welcome with a typical café da tarde!

Our specific requests during our stay were also handled very friendly and quickly (like having a bottle of ice drinking our own champagne). The rooms are clean, and the breakfast is fresh with many options and also open for special requests. The bed and douche are also comfortable. All in all, we have had a great time!

I tend to find the critical comments I read of the pousada a bit silly. Most of us weren’t born yesterday…it isn’t hard to pick out reviews from folks that get their vacations out of a “can” or those that go on vacation seemingly wanting disappointment. It is like a bunch of people only found out about the place when they were in Brazil for the World Cup.

The showers are luke-warm, but that is life on FdN. It is a hot/humid place. The people live an existence very different from most. Cherish that experience rather than burdening friendly folks with your attitude while giving them a great reason to stereotype you (and your culture) like any other greedy tourist.

Pousada Lenda das Aguas allowed me to experience places and people I really never knew could exist. Everything is 4-5 times as expensive on the island, and I am still left to wonder where the poor folks (I have to believe most are near or below poverty) get their stuff. The market nearby appeared to have local patrons as well as tourists.

I found a more significant variation in pricing at restaurants than at the store. I showed up, and my atm card didn’t work, that was scary. I have a Chase ATM card, and the machines wouldn’t read it, although the device said PLUS and VISA. I had USD luckily and when to a place “Atlantis” to exchange. Loved here!

Great Pousada

This was our first time on the Island – we read a useful review online. They picked us up at the airport, and the pousada is very typical Brazilian style. They only have a few rooms.

The place is new and clean. The staff is accommodating with booking anything for you. The room is ample in size and comfortable. The breakfast has plenty of choices. The location is perfect, close to town and most restaurants. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you for the cozumel sightseeing tours recommendations!

This bed and breakfast are amazing! The owner was very kind to pick us up at the airport. The front desk manager Karen was on point, giving us all the tips around the Island and very helpful with all our questions. Igor also was beneficial. Breakfast was great, and the rooms were clean! I would go back and highly recommend it.

Loved the place, very clean and well maintained. Staff was accommodating and attentive, enjoyed interacting with every one of them, they went out of their way to make our stay extremely pleasant (especially Karen, she was so lovely and helpful).

Breakfast was excellent, with many options and very tasty. Also loved the California-style decoration. Great, high value, highly recommended. 10 out of 10 points.

This is the new kid on the block in Noronha, opened late 2017. Room and amenities clean and bright, all hydraulics and lights working. The only internet very slow to die, but this is a general problem on this Island. The owner came to pick us up at the airport (5 min drive).

Easy to walk hotel to most restaurants 5-15 mins, a bit further to the nearest beach (better to rent a buggy, bike, or take a taxi). The pool is more a large bathtub, but ok to refresh a bit.

Friendly and great service

We had such a great time staying here. Gustavo was very accommodating, and the staff made our stay a pleasure. Will be back! I highly recommend this place for couples or families. See you soon, Pousada Lua Bela!

My husband and I had the perfect time in Pousada Lua Nova. The staff was very attentive, and the breakfast was just incredible. They offer afternoon tea that is also incredible, the food is always fresh and delicious. Our bedroom was still clean (they pass by twice a day) and the bed was very comfortable.

The shower did not have a lot of pressure, but the bath was ok! They had a lot of great and useful amenities, especially mosquito repellents. They also have perfect hair blower. We were fortunate to stay at the bangalô, that was incredible. I truly recommend it!

We have a pleasant stay at Pousada Lua Bela – it is pure but spotless and cozy. Breakfast and afternoon snack are delicious. We would come back for the afternoon snack just to see what “surprises” Gustavo and Robinson prepared for the afternoon; they also suggested some cozumel jeep and beach adventure on our next trip to MExico.

They bake and prepare all the food in-house – fresh and delicious, especially the daily baked cakes. Camila was accommodating with any requests and went out of her way to make our stay comfortable and pleasant. I highly recommend this pousada.

The rooms are great. They offer beach towels, beach chairs, and even umbrellas for you to take with you during the day. Also, the staff is on top of things and always willing to help. The WiFi is a downside since you can only access it in the lobby, and it does not reach the rooms. And the pool is not a pool, not really sure why it’s there. It’s small and dirty!

To be honest, the price is very high for what it is. However, that’s just how it goes in FDN. We paid what you usually pay for a 5-star hotel, and this is not that. But as I said the hotels, in general, are expensive here.

Strongly recommended

This Pousada is una perfect position in Fernando. Everything was perfect: breakfast, attention to detail, rooms comfortable, and always tidy. Paula and the staff were still supportive of requests. They also gave us the opportunity of a late check out for free because of they of our flight schedule.

A pleasant stay in a paradise island. The Pousada has a very convenient position near the center – it is beautiful and quiet. The rooms are spacious and full of everything you need, and all the staff is excellent, super supportive, and kind. Breakfast is delicious. I strongly recommend staying at Beco. I would if I’d come back to Fernando.

I was a single traveler and stayed at Beco De Noronha for 4 nights and loved it. It is tucked away in a cul-de-sac but is conveniently located within walking distance from great restaurants, the diving school, and other relevant sites. The Pousada is beautifully decorated, very clean, and comfortable. The staff was super lovely and amazingly helpful with their el cielo cozumel snorkeling tour recommendations. Thank you, guys!

They patiently explained to me how best to enjoy the island and gave me great suggestions on things to do, where it is best to see the sunset and where to get fantastic food. They also went out of their way to have something delivered to me in Recife when I realized I forgot something significant in the Pousada.

I was so immensely grateful for that. I highly recommend Beco De Noronha and would definitely stay there again if I go to FDN back. Thank you to the management and the staff for making it such an enjoyable stay!

Everyone was charming, they helped us around the island and recommended the best places. Everything was very familiar, the breakfast was terrific. The room and the hotel, in general, was really well decorated.

Loved this hotel. Would highly recommend hiring Sabine for a tour of all the main beaches and sights. We saw sharks, fish, and turtles and took us to a place of the beaten track on her buggy. Once we did this for a full day didn’t need to pay again to enter the park.

Friendly staff and very comfortable rooms in Paradise

Excellent stay at the Dolphin hotel. Good service well-done visit. Excellent hospitality and available good food. We training to Dolphin to archivally beautiful place nice live band with dining room also very tasty.

This hotel is excellent for its friendly staff who recommended us a riviera maya fly fishing trip, good service, refurbished clean rooms, lovely breakfast buffet, and excellent location in the center of the island. The staff (Maiara, Tati and Carlo) really care and will help you to find the best restaurants, tours and beach locations.

An excellent team. The island is expensive, but considering the other hotel choices (we visited and dined in several different locations), the Dolphin is a relatively good value for money. Well worth it!

We stayed at this hotel two years ago, and the hotel has been refurbished since then with better rooms, better working showers (still not perfect, though) and an improvement of the pool area. The service is excellent, and the breakfast is excellent. Nice view despite being next to the BR main road and 20 minutes to walk to the beach (Conceição and Boldro). 5 minutes walk to Tamar and a small supermarket.

Noronha is famous for being an expensive island, this hotel is expensive but not so much if you consider it is a perfect one. Is supposed to be 3 stars but I think you should be 4 stars since they have everything you need, is elegant and have a great restaurant. My room was always clean and tidy, comfortable bed, a/c working on perfect state, and a lot of channels on the television.

Loved my stay at this hotel! Carol was amazing! The food is by far some of the best on the island. Room was clean and updated with a very comfortable bed. The bathroom was spacious and well supplied. The a/c worked great, which was nice. The property is very well maintained with a beautiful pool and bar on site! Overall I really recommend this hotel. It was one of the highlights of my trip to the island!

Amazing hotel. It’s incredible to find that the quality of food here far surpasses your expectations with every dish you order. I didn’t have the luxury of staying at this hotel, but I speak highly of the food because they serve delicious and well-sized portions for an affordable price. They also have specials so that you can enjoy a beer and a dessert combo with your meal.
