Review for the activities staff within pool areas

The staff, whether at the bar, dining or just in passing, they were excellent. The room view was amazing at any time of the day or night. Rustic charm. More intimate and personable. Everything was amazing.

We traveled with another family, so we each got our room, with a standard place between us — each with a great view of the Gulf of Mexico.

The on-staff entertainment was enjoyable and accessible. When they weren’t putting on a show for our kids, they were leading my wife in Yoga or Zumba classes. Or you can be pool-side while Pepe Boy leads the crowd in a competition. Pepe Boy speaks first in Spanish, then in English. Very friendly to non-Spanish speakers like me – they also recommended me the cozumel reef restoration tour near the hotel. Manu, Camila, Dafne, Francisco, and Pepe Boy were always beneficial to my family and me.

I recommend this hotel, and I already miss it. The food was excellent, and they have activities all day. They have a water park and kayaks for the family. Their prices are lower than in other hotels. They also have a kids club that my daughter enjoyed. They have beds outside for you to relax and watch the ocean.

We just got home from our vacation, and we had such an excellent time. The staff is very helpful and very friendly. The bartenders Isai, Hugo and Eduardo, were awesome and very fun to hang out with at the bar by the pool. Monu and Camilla were very friendly, and a lot of fun, plus they kept the activities going all day.

The food was pretty good, especially at the restaurant. The doorman Armando and Arlen were very helpful with everything we needed. We can’t wait to come back.

I recommend this fun water park. We had such a great time since the moment we arrived, and the kids truly loved the place. We enjoyed the unlimited drinks and food. Special thanks to Jimmy, the manager. Despite the park being quite full during our visit, he made sure we were all attended. We will definitely be back!

Extremely clean and safe stay!

This resort is a fantastic deal for your buck. This hotel is spotless and safe to get two or three Canadian girls traveling; we’re delighted with this resort. Each day that our beds were altered and new towels supplied together with bottled water in our area.

There was a tiny waffle maker you could make waffles by which were yummy!

There was ice cream (very secure ) and also a countertop water dispenser using a large bottled water container in addition to java apple juice and orange juice.

For dinner alternatives, there’s a neighborhood taco place named Taqueria Los Chachalacas, and I highly suggest this location to get a reasonably priced tasty dinner. 1.8 kilometers to stroll ) and that’s where it is possible to grab the R1 or R2 bus to get into the resort zone/AKA beaches in Cancun. The bus prices 12 pesos FYI.

Being in July, I guessed all of the resorts are more costly. However, this one was cheap and high. It is also next to some hospital. There were always flights and police around.

Only a few weeks back stayed at this house, its neighboring and location is ideal. IMHO it is a business hotel, nicely ready for solo travelers as well as its workers are warm and helpful. The rooms are beautifully arranged, clean, and spacious. Breakfast can also be excellent. Staff is great with their flyboard cozumel price recommendations. The resort is secure. It will have a swimming pool if you would like to unwind after work.

The location though the resort it’s a bit south of downtown, in walking distance to primary areas. Also, taxis in Cancún are incredibly cheap, and many bus lines pass nearby. It attracts free and quick wifi in most areas (additionally rooms). It does not have anything particular in the sense which isn’t an art-focused or even grand-interiors resort, but it is going to meet your travel accommodation requirements and will keep you relaxed and comfy. Its cost is quite high.

Great service and entertainment

We recently spent a week at the GR Caribe and had access to the Royal Solaris next door. We found individual employees made our stay (9 people) enjoyable. They were pleasant, entertaining, and always smiling.

Martina, Karina, and Samantha were great entertainment. Our waitress, Rosalinda, was always smiling and waited on us without a flaw with or without a tip.

Best cardio and condition I’ve ever had. Highly recommend anyone who plans on staying in shape while on vacation to take classes. He advised on nutrition and even came to the cafeteria to point out what would be best for your diet; he also recommended the best shore snorkeling cozumel for our family.

Also is extremely knowledgeable about the body and how it works. Again I highly recommend working with George when staying here and the names of the chefs were Misael and Juan Carlos, so ask for them!

Royal Solaris is a seriously picture-perfect hotel. It’s right on the beach – which was probably the cleanest beach I’ve ever seen in person. Everything in the hotel was clean, and the rooms were beautiful and comfortable.

The biggest plus here is that the staff is SO FRIENDLY. I don’t have any complaints about a single staff member here. Martina kept us entertained during the day with Flip Cup, Blackjack, and Dominos by the pool. Alberto, Andres, and Vincente provided excellent service during dinner. Marco Polo, without a doubt, offered the best food. We ate there 3 out of 5 nights, but I could have eaten there every night.

I would come back to Royal Solaris again. There was always something to do at the resort, but you could venture downtown by bus as well for just $1. We spent a lot of our time at the swim-up pool bar.

Excellent place to stay at

My life at Grand playground Royal was terrific. I went for my birthday along with my boyfriend. On the other hand, in the night we had an excellent experience in the taqueria with Higinio who had been kind and always received us with a smile. We will be coming back again.

We booked with Expedia, did not write anything in remarks relating to it being our honeymoon.

The resort was large enough to walk around, particularly on the shore the only real disappointment we have had been the bud on the beach I guess this is the month to get this. The restaurant was very friendly and clean. Pleasant waiters with their sea trek cozumel reviews suggestions food excellent near any transport and also have a lot of action given.

Our favorite character was eating tacos in the taqueria from the Snack el Jardin. Higinio was so pleasant, sweet, and real. The tacos and support were so good we ate there every evening. We certainly recommend stopping from the taqueria through the night to try out the tacos and make to fulfill Higinio!

This is the second time that we’re staying in the Grand Park Royal. The hotel may use little more upgrading particularly more expensive Oceanfront rooms. Overall we had a fantastic anniversary party.

They arrived with our loved ones and brother’s family for one week trip — facilities in quite a good shape with employees greeting you or smiling an awareness to you. Vast shore but regrettably the surf conditions were a lousy week (red flag), so nobody was in the water in addition to the sea bud was terrible on many days.

Somewhat limited options for food, but due to the place, it is easy to walk off the house and dine in other restaurants. The two families, with children, had fun and also agreed that we’d consider returning, again and again, do it again!

Good choice In Noronha

We spent 5 days In Fernando de Noronha paradise Island, this hotel was just what we need, quiet, Calm, good air conditioned, clean, an excellent fresh breakfast (Nelson, the guy who takes care of lunch is amiable and helpful).

The backyard of the hotel is full of trees and has a functional space with, and a view for the Morro do Pico. I recommend it. The only problem we faced was that they didn’t have ice for our drinks at night.

Excellent services and installations! Amiable and happy staff with great flats fishing cozumel suggestions. Breakfast is fantastic with a significant variety of fruits, yogurt, cereal, cheese, ham, tapiocas, eggs, cakes, bread, milk, coffee, etc.

The rooms are spacious, clean, with excellent air conditioning and satellite tv. The bathroom is well maintained with a good shower.

Pedro, Gustavo & Octavio are great friendly bilingual hosts, and the location is excellent, clean and nearby stores and restaurants. Daily breakfast was always fresh and very accommodating to individual requests. We will definitely come back.

This is a lovely place to stay, friendly staff, walking distance beaches and a couple of good restaurants. It offers a great breakfast. Good value. We stayed in one of the cabanas, and it was perfect.

We booked Pousada do Marcilio because a friend stayed there for two weeks and told us that the place was worth going. Pousada do Marcilio is guesthouse with around 9 units, ensuite. It is a little bit pricey on the high season; however, its location and breakfast and room service are above the other lodging average.

Excellent Pousada with breathtaking view

I must confess this pousada wasn’t my first choice in Noronha. However, our family had stayed there before and highly recommended it. We decided to give it a try, and we couldn’t be happier.

The location is excellent, the landscape is beautiful, with lovely views of the ocean, and the bungalows are huge and nicely decorated. But the real difference comes from the staff. They work around the clock and do everything in their power to make you happy.

They catered to our every need – including going the extra length when I was caught a horrible cold that knocked me down for our short stay. They made me soup and tea and were always asking if there was anything else we needed. Plus, the food there is fantastic, and it tastes just like home. We would highly recommend Solar dos Ventos to anyone visiting Noronha. They are the best!

The only small thing I would mention – which is not entirely their fault – is that we had a bad experience with the buggy rental agency they recommended. But still, they tried to remedy the situation and also gave us an amazing cozumel snorkeling recommendation we’ll try later.

With only nine bungalows and a staff of 23 in addition to the family that owns and runs Pousada Solar dos Ventos, service was incredible and caring. Our room was miraculously cleaned while we were away and if we wanted to stay in our bungalow, we were left alone to enjoy its comfort and the fantastic view. We had but to ask, and things were taken care of – whether ordering a buggy for us to explore the island, or complimentary tea on our terrace, or advice on what to see and do.

Breakfast was good as well as ample. While selections for lunch were limited, everything was fresh and tasty. While dependent on a satellite connection, the internet worked well and was available in our room as well as common areas. As others have noted, the location is excellent. Almost at the end of the main (and only) road and well away from the “village,” it is not heavily trafficked and is within walking distance of South Bay, which has a beautiful beach and excellent snorkeling.

While not inexpensive, Pousada Solar dos Ventos was worth everything we paid and more – as good as – and in many ways better and more comfortable – than most five star hotels we have stayed in.

Amazing stay

We just returned from a fantastic 6 day trip to the island the first week of August. The place is at the far end of the island, with no habitation to one side, or in front or in back. So the views and privacy from the porch are lovely.

There are not many places where you can have a beautiful view of the ocean – mostly these are the restrictions of the island, wanting to keep it pristine and not built up. The rooms had beautiful bathrooms (water temp was never hot), comfortable bed (we had a place for a couple.

But also had our 3-year-old with us, and there was room in the bed with us, we could not find reasonable triple rooms at the time), small fridge with refreshments, perfect air conditioning, closet space with safe, and on the porch a table couple chairs and a hammock.

They have only four rooms. Breakfast was fresh and tasty, the hours were good. The staff was outstanding, they did not speak English, and we did not speak much Portuguese, but we both tried hard and managed through with smiles. We felt very safe there, it was quiet (also part of being just outside of the town), and we were within 15-20 minute walk of a couple of beautiful beaches.

At the end of the day, whatever your problems, everyone there is willing to help, other tourists included – that is part of the charm of their cozumel fishing and snorkeling tips for our next adventure, and was no different at this pousada.

Don’t come here expecting a usual hotel, these places are small, life on the island seems fun (was fun), but harder for the people working there, it is expensive, for everyone. Again, part of that is due to the efforts of the Brazilians to keep the island as pristine and available as they can. You cannot go wrong staying here.

Super pousada! The rooms are comfortable, the location perfect, and Eva makes a delicious breakfast every day. Very good. Thanks, dear Eva. We had a great time in Fernando de Noronha. I do really recommend this pousada.

Good value and central location for exploring the island

Excellent experience at Pousada da Germana. Clean hotel, friendly staff, and good breakfast. The rooms are not huge but very comfortable. Considering the rather high prices for accommodation in Fernando de Noronha, this is definitely a place I would recommend.

Great location in Vila dos Remedios- easy walking distance to good restaurants (Flamboyant and Xica da Silva were favorites), groceries and Praia dos Cachorros and not too much further to Praia do Meio and Praia da Conceicao. Friendly and helpful staff who recommended me the cozumel trikes tours in Mexico.

Spotless rooms with a clothesline in the shower, hooks on the room wall, hairdryer, multiple outlets in the room. Comfortable beds, very nice quality towels, and they provide beach towels for daily use. Breakfast was good with the option for eggs, omelets, queijo coalhado, and tapiocas.

Very generous afternoon snack from 4:30-6:30. The lack of bedside lighting so brings a small backlight or headlamp. Saw hammock hooks but no hammocks, however, I did not ask about availability, so maybe they had them, and you just had to ask.

Earplugs are a good idea since it is near the road. Shares premises with Tubaroes and Malibu. We were in the room #1 near the reception, and it was not as noisy as I expected, but that probably depends on multiple factors. Earplugs are a good idea for sleeping mainly because that room, #2, and the rooms of Pousada Tubaroes are near the road.

All walks to the closest 3 beach are downhill on cobblestone roads, thus uphill for the step back, but we preferred walking to renting a buggy. Shuttle service is provided from/to the airport by a designated tour company- it was Na Onda when we visited.

There is a terrible WiFi, right, but who cares? You can just relax and enjoy the island. And in case of need, they will support you with flight check-in and emergency emails. The location is perfect! Is it the old village, with beaches, restaurants, grocery stores and so on. We will definitely come back!

Good location, close to the beach, friendly staff

We stayed at Pousada Malibu for 5 nights followed by a 2-night stay at their sister pousada Tobarao. The room in Malibu was small but clean. Tobarao offers more space and newer rooms.

The reception was beneficial (especially Camila and Thiago) Pricewise both pousadas seemed reasonable considering high prices in Noronha. We would recommend it and would stay again.

The localization is perfect, and the staff is more than excellent from the reception, kitchen, and cleaning. All the people are helpful, smiling, and extremely friendly with their cozumel mini sub suggestions. We were a large group, and there is no complaint. Beds and pillows excellent, new towels, and the most organized person at reception.

We were fortunate to get the room, actually after that our reservation was confirmed for other pousada and after buying the flight tickets only 2 days before the trip, pousada was canceled the day after because was already full! But, we haven’t been abandoned.

As people on FdN are charming, they found us a room in Pousada Malibu, inaugurated on 15. December 2014. We were the first guests in room No 5.

Everything was completely new, freshly painted. Room is spacy, has private bathroom, with air condition, small fridge, TV with Sky connection, Wi-Fi which didn’t work well but this is the problem on all the island. Also, 3G doesn’t work well. All is very clean. Changing the towels is daily and sheets every second or third day(I don’t remember well). It’s safe as the whole island is, an oasis of Brazil. We were with 10-month-old baby, and they provided a crib, again wholly new.

This place is great. Stuff is very polite, friendly, happy to prepare for you or to teach how to do tapioca (north-east specialty, kind of crap). Also, they would make omelet and few other things on request. Daily are serving fresh juice, yogurt, coffee, fruits, ham, cheese, some worm pie or similar.

Relaxing stay with excellent service

Our trip to Fernando de Noronha left us with mixed emotions. The island itself is stunningly beautiful from a distance and the beaches some of the best we have ever been to.

However, once you step away from the beach, you are confronted with what can only be described as long term neglect for the development of the island.

I am simply cannot understand where all the money that is paid in entry fees and passes goes. Staff recommended us a cozumel snuba tour for my family. Locals advise us the money is not returned to the island and it certainly appears that way. It is angering knowing that our hard earned travel money is lining the pockets of some corrupt or incompetent politician in Recife instead of giving us a better holiday experience.

The amount of rubbish lying in the streets and then the general lack of quality infrastructure (e.g., airport, sealed roads, pier, etc.) defines the high costs that tourists are charged. Roads are not sealed to the beach means that if it rains (and it rained every day for us) a trip to the beach is a mud infested struggle that simply ruins the experience.

There is nothing fun about endlessly cleaning mud from your feet, your clothes, your buggy (standard cars simply cannot make it to the beach if it rains), etc. The locals we spoke to appear to be equally frustrated, and they make up for it with their exceptional service, friendliness, and food quality. Fortunately, the staff at the hotel were brilliant and were a significant reason were able to leave the island feeling happy and not completely ripped off. They were always friendly and willing to meet our needs.

Our trip would have been a disaster without them. The hotel facilities were perfect for our needs – clean and well presented. The food was good although overpriced for the quality which varied too much – sometimes the food was excellent and other times overcooked (e.g., our lobster dinner).

I doubt that we will ever return to the island as it is overpriced compared to other travel options elsewhere in Brazil (e.g., Amazon, Pantanal) and the rest of the world. However, if we do return, we would certainly stay at Pousada Triboju again.
